I am attending my second online university and both I have attended have been very good and a great value for the money.

I agree with you about online universities offering a good option for education. Many of the traditional schools are adding online programs now too since they realize it is difficult for many working adults to attend traditional classes. I've been pleased with the quality of education where I'm attending (Kaplan).

I have looked into this before; it sounds like a good idea. Only thing that worries me is getting a job afterwards. Are online degrees valued as much as "real life" degrees?

The organizations I've talked to are fine with online degrees as long as they are from accredited universities. It depends on the specific company though so if you have someplace specific in mind, I'd call their HR department and ask.

I have been researching different online universities, and I have three in mind that I want to attend. In your opinion, which is the best school: DeVry, Kaplan, or the University of Phoenix Online?

Christine,
I don't know much about Devry personally, but I looked at both Univ. of Phoenix and Kaplan before I chose Kaplan. Both have their benefits and drawbacks, mostly depending on what you are looking for in an education. Univ. of Phoenix's approach is based more on team-oriented projects in their classes whereas Kaplan's are more based on individual work. There have been a few group projects at Kaplan, but not a lot.
Cost is pretty similar as are the classes within each degree. The term is slightly shorter at U.ofP. or at least it was when I researched it. I believe it was 8 weeks and Kaplan is 10.
I've had a really good experience with Kaplan personally and would recommend them to anyone.
