I am looking for school that is accredited and is recognized by many employers. An extra benefit would be that they help you find a good job after graduation.

I am going to have a tough time deciding which school is the best. I have already talked to DeVry and they sound wonderful, but the University of Phoenix and Kaplan also sound equally wonderful.

All three schools you mention are well recognized and cost is about the same. Do any have a program you like better than others to help you narrow it down? You might also talk to your current or potential employer(s) to see which one they prefer.

I have to agree with dallasgal. It really depends on your interest or possibly your employer (if you are trying to just better your position at work). Some of these schools have more computer and business related classes, while a school like University of Phoenix has a wide range too choose from.

Good point. University of Phoenix probably has one of the larger offerings of classes and degrees of any of the online schools. Another one that has a wide range of degrees is Jones International.

Ok, so I've been doing a little research on this topic. As far as I can see, online universities are legit if they are accredited. Employers should see this as legit. I think more employers are seeing that getting an online degree is legit as it becomes more mainstream.

I think most of us know that it needs to be an accredited school by now, being that we're all here researching schools, or here because we attend schools, I think we all know better than to attend 'Joe's Online Fun Land University'.

The ability to do work online, instead of being in a classroom environment. This allows people to work at their pace in many cases, and gives you a better chance at being on time to class as you do not need to go anywhere.
