I went to the University of Illinois for my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I was there from 1999-2003 and I LOVED it. It was a great mix of a large campus with a lot of things to do and a homey, small-town feel. I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago so I was a little worried that my only leisure activity would be cow-tipping, but I made many friends there along with many more (and even better) memories with them that I will always cherish. I loved that I had a mix of big lecture hall classes, and smaller discussion group classes because for me, I like to blend in with the crowd every now and then but also like some individual interaction. If anyone has any questions about U of I, don't hesitate to ask!

About how many people were attending when you were there? What was the school like as far as what they provide class wise and housing wise. Where there anything that you would warn future students about.
