This thread discusses the Content article: OAKTON COMMUNITY COLLEGE - DES PLAINES I've never taken classes here, but have seen what they have to offer ... As far as community colleges go, Oakton is a great school for summer school classes, getting your Associate's or just taking a few extra classes. They have a wide variety of courses and multiple campuses in the Chicago suburban area.

You say it is great for summer classes. many schools have shorter summer classes that are more intense because of the time frame. is this the case with this school as well. Do you have to take less classes to help with the amount of work you cram into less time.
