When looking into financial aid, always make sure you have all the facts. Research as mch as you can. My sister is finishing up her last year of nursing at a university and just found out that if she stays in the area for a year to work as a nurse, she'd get a $3000 scholarship bonus. Unfortunately, she had to apply in her third year and did not know, so she is not eligible. Always get a much information as you can.

Thats a great point, and in nursing she should check into employer reimbursement my best friend is a nurse and the hospital she went to work for paid back a very large portion of any student loans so check that out as well.

That's some great advice. Do you have any tips on where/how to research? Do you just try to find out as much information as you can from your school or did you look things up online? Where did your sister find out about the $3000 scholarship bonus?

I would recommend that you check first with the school because they should have all that information readily available to anyone who asks for it. If they do not then they should be able to direct you to the proper places.
