I just wanted to let you guys know that I received an e-mail from FAFSA stating that primary date is coming up very soon. I believe it's on Feb.15! Always make sure to submit it by this date so you can get a better chance of receiving more grant & aid.

Once I was a Freshman, I submitted FAFSA way past this date & remember getting stuck with less Grant money. The FAFSA counselors have told me it was because I didn't submit it by the primary date.

This is correct the sooner you apply the better you make out, i think what slows some people up are when they complete there taxes by, I actually just completed my for this year today.

There are a lot of people that wait until the last minute to file their submissions. I think that it is a bad idea. When you first receive your renewal you should file it.
