I am currently attending Akron Institute. I have to agree with S. Porter, this school is terrible. The teachers don't care and neither does the school. They treat you like trash and don't care about your problems. The students are the ones that are paying to keep the school open, if it weren't for us they wouldn't have jobs, so why do they treat everyone so bad? It is expensive, and a lot of the teachers have no idea what they are doing. You are better off teaching yourself because that's what you do there anyway. They are teachers and are supposed to teach us, correct? Not here! The Dean is very unpleasant, and please don't believe the commercial that they are caring because they most certainly are not. I will be graduating soon, and so very glad to be rid of that place. I wish I would have did more research myself, but unfortunately did not. Please explore all of your options. I do not recommend that you attend this school, look elsewhere. Most of my classmates agree that this school sucks. We have to live with our decision to continue our education here since we are almost done, you don't.

This is an awful school. They give you your classes out of order and some of the teachers have no experience in the field they are teaching. One of my teachers didn't have a clue about the subject. Yet they charge you full price for the class. All they care about at this school is money. Everything is all about how much money they can make. If you have a problem, don't go to the dean because she could care less. I am not the only person who has had problems with her. I really regret my choice of schools. I wish I would have researched schools more and I wish other people would have wrote reviews. I know I am not the only one unhappy with the school. All the students talk about what an awful school it is.
