I have no experience with other programs at CTS, but PLEASE, avoid their CNA course. The quality of instruction is poor and the teachers would rather make you miserable than actually help you or teach you. This school is also guilty of "culling" students -- admitting them and then purposely dismissing them while keeping their money. Keep in mind that this is a for-profit school. Their ultimate goal is to make money. Avoid CTS and opt for a community college or tax-supported institution instead.

I have NO complaints about CTS, they treated me like family, never turning their back on me, always pushing me to make sure i made the best decisions, and make sure i put 100% into my work. I went to CTS for my Medical Assistant Program, and have had nothing but a wonderful experience with this school. Im now working on going back to CTS for my RN, and i cant wait to be back with them. Whenever i need a question about school answered, i rely on CTS because i know i'll get the honest truth out of them, and nothing less. I believe if i would have went to a different school, my learning experience would not have been as enjoyable. THANK YOU CTS for everything. And i look forward to going back to them for my RN :)

I went to Career Training Solutions for their esthetics program (skincare, make-up, waxing). I have been able to secure a job and make good money with my education. Everyone at the school was friendly and helpful. As a young mom right out of high school I was unsure of which direction to go in. I did not want to be stuck in a minium wage job the rest of my life. I couldn't afford to do that, I needed to make lots of money to support myself and my son!I do not regret my choice of attending this school verus college. Soon after my training I got great jobs and have worked at the best spas in the area. I get compliments all the time about how good I am at what I do! Going to CTS was one of the best choices I have ever made.

I am a bit taken back by the review of CTS! This school is AWESOME!...Located just off Interestate 95 in Stafford, VA..CTS has a campus that is unsurpassed by any career school of its size! The lobby and entrance is well addressed and speaking to cleanliness this school is cleaned TWICE/DAY! So that the evening students walk into a well maintained environment for their evening schedule...As far as COST!!! Please take a minute and hear yourself...where can you go and get a NEW CAREER in leass than TWO YEARS...community colleges cannot do what CTS can do! CTS does not burden its students with "general ed" courses...it cuts to the "skill" and this school has graduated so many students who are gainfully employed in Fredericksburg, Richmond, Hampton Roads, Northern VA and elsewhere in the United States of America...and this school GIVES BACK to its community... CTS students are always present at hospitals, community service health centers and CTS is a sponsor of many who need an education cannot afford one....you OBVIOUSLY were not the right fit for CTS..good luck where ever you go...I do hope you find an education that meets ALL of your unrealistic expectations...

I visited many schools in the area between Northern Virginia and Richmond seeking the best one for estethics. During my visit to CTS,
blank_page
(Name Removed)Â took me on a tour and told me how wonderful the program was, how well trained the instructor was and how wonderful our learning materials were. I signed up and started in January of this year. After attending for a few days, I began to see that
blank_page
(Name Removed) had lied to me. I found out that their "practical" instructor was even an properly educated esthetician. How am I supposed to be trained for state boards when I'm learning from someone who has never been? They are disorganized, they lack proper learning materials and their lab is actually disgusting and not up to state board codes. For example they do not have a proper disinfectant kept in their clinic that kills the HIV and Hepatitis viruses. Pretty scary, right? We, students, are paying $10,000 to "pretend" we have the proper products when cleansing for our practical. This school is way overpriced. When we complained to program manager, we were told that they didn't care if we left. They are too worried about money and not giving a proper education. About the campus, it's small and it's dirty. No one every properly cleaned the bathrooms or break area. For a school charging $30,000 for a nursing program, you'd think they could hire a maid. Not this school, they are all about the dollar signs. Stay far far away from this school. I just want to let it known that this school has a poor reputation so it may be difficult to find a job having this school on your resume. I found out recently that a friend of mine actually got her LPN here and couldn't find a job in the area because of her CTS education. She eventually landed a job 50 miles away. Nurses go to Germanna and attend their excellent program. It's worth the wait. Estheticians and Massage therapists, it's better for you to head to schools up north or in Richmond. This will not do you any good.
