I would be very careful before investing any money into the "education" provided by Madison Media Institute. They are a very small operation that does not put the student first.

The administrative staff has very little work experience period, much less experience in higher education. They do however think that they the gods gift to the world and could do no wrong. They love to openly gossip. Which means they do very little to try to improve the school. The atmosphere is very negative. The instructors may listen to students but the administrative staff absolutely does not listen to students at all. And, good luck if you have to deal with the Director of Financial Aid. She will belittle you in front of other people. The registrar will also treat you horrendously. The staff will also openly talk about students they hate in the halls. And, they will make fun of students to their faces. Student Services will yell at you, rather scream at students. There is a lot of harassment that goes on, especially if you have to deal with IT. The president's brother who works there has been know to have anger management issues that are overlooked because he is related. Overall the staff loves to make the school feel like a really bad high school experience.

The new programs were obviously thrown together quickly and with out much thought for curriculum, which is obvious if you are one of those poor schmucks that bought the hype and signed up for one of them. They have no substance but at least the teachers will give you good grades without even needing to try.

They will talk to you about placement rates but unless you think working at Starbucks is a good job after graduation, don't waste the outrageous sum of money. The school suffers under the management of the president who sits idle while staff runs a muck. Like Mr. Burns in the Simpsons, he is only interested in how he can make money and make himself look good.

Don't go here. Spend your money else where. It is a Gigantic money making scheme. There is no solid thing that you learn here. Their placement department should be fired. I have a job, but they were no help. They tried to get me a job selling headphones...and that was the last week of school.

teachers are self-absorbed, they aren't as good as they project themselves to be. I think the school can only afford to hire newbies who can't argue about salary, it shows. I'm now in my 11th week of class and we haven't been able to make it through a Final Cut Pro class yet because their computers lock up and you lose everything and have to start over, like anywhere from 3-10 times a class period. The PC lab did that same thing for the first 4 weeks of class. The (edited) doesn't care, (edited) just tells me (edited) embarassed and can't figure out why their computers don't work, and (edited) really appreciates me being so nice about it all. So....after 11 weeks of battle with the staff we still don't have computers that operate and they don't know what's wrong. I"m saving some money and leaving after this semester to attend Columbia in chicago, a real school.....
